Grow your sales with professional photographs that show your products at their best

A client’s first contact with your product is the photograph

Got a great product? That’s fantastic — and important. But it’s not only about being good; it has to look good at a glance. That’s why it matters so much to have photographs that show those products at their best.

What is product photography?

Whether online or in brochures, catalogues, flyers, signs, menus… photography is how your products get known to your clients.

You only get one chance to make a good impression and, with a single glance, make what you offer look attractive.

Professional product photography lets you convey its best features with quality images.

Photographs also have an immediate emotional influence at the moment of purchase.

We follow emotions more than we think. That’s why the image needs to be high quality — to create a positive emotion that leads to a purchase.

Product photography is the only reference someone has when they visit your site or browse your catalogue — so it matters to convey, in one image, what they hope to see in your product.

Why product photography matters

According to the latest Ecommerce IAB Spain 2024 study, the internet remains the main information channel for 9 out of 10 buyers — and trust in the brand/website matters more and more in that purchase decision.

Few communication tools have such a power to influence buying decisions when selling a product as a quality image that shows its key features and how it can be used.

Without trust, there’s no sale. Without a sale, there’s no business.

The quality and professionalism of product photographs help convey the trust and confidence clients need to invest in you.

Whether you run a traditional business or an e-commerce store.

Benefits of product photography

ATTRACTION

Catch potential clients’ attention with professional product photographs. Make them feel as if they were holding it in their own hands.

TRUST

Convey the quality of your product with professional photographs and build trust and confidence in potential clients.

DECISION

Help clients decide to buy by offering professional product images — and reduce returns as well.

BRANDING

Improve the image and reputation of your brand, company or business — and the perceived quality of your products — with professional photographs of them.

COMPETITION

Stand out from your competition with professional, high-quality product photography plus a strong product description.

SALES

Grow your sales with an attractive, irresistible product presentation that makes it hard not to become your client.

Product photographs are among the most important and immediate factors in the purchase decision

Why make your client wonder whether your product is worth buying just because you showed it with a low-quality photograph?

What kinds of product photography can you book?

STUDIO PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

We’ll show your product on a flat, neutral, well-lit background so it’s the absolute star of the session. We have full control of light and colour management so photographs show the real colours of your products.

PRODUCT DETAIL PHOTOGRAPHY

We’ll show your product’s features from every angle, carefully handling the details to convey a truer image of what you sell.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY THAT SHOWS SIZE AND FIT

We’ll help your client picture the product at real scale. If you have a clothing store, for example, we’ll show how the product looks when worn.

PRODUCTION PROCESS PHOTOGRAPHY

We’ll show how your product is made from start to finish — especially for a restaurant dish or an artisanal product.

PRODUCT PACKAGING PHOTOGRAPHY

Through images we’ll tell your client about the care you put into packing your product — building more trust in your brand, company or business.

What is a product photography session like at Casanova Estudio?

In our studio we have everything needed to bring out the best in your products — and we also travel wherever you need us.

We have a white cyclorama 4.65 m wide and another smooth white wall where we use very large, soft lights that eliminate shadows. We also shoot on black backgrounds (if you need another colour, just ask us before the session).

We also work with high-end lighting with ultra-fast recycle times, so we can shoot continuously (up to 10 frames per second).

That means fewer session hours to build a wide catalogue of photographs — a saving for you, especially if you need models — without losing image quality.

How can you book your product photography session?

We keep it simple: fill in this short form so a member of our team can get in touch within 48 business hours.

Made it this far and still have questions?

Don’t leave with any doubts!

Is booking a product photography session the same as an advertising campaign?

This is a very common question, since advertising campaigns also feature products.

The difference is that product photographs — without sacrificing professionalism — aim to portray the product as faithfully as possible, as if the viewer had it in front of them. Retouching is simpler and, in this case, quantity and volume of delivered photos take priority — for example when you need an e-commerce catalogue. Advertising-campaign photography budgets are higher, so product photography is offered as a more accessible option.

Many clients choose to shoot 3 advertising photographs of their hero product(s) and do the rest as product photography — combining both approaches.

How long does the session last?

Session length depends on the project and the elements involved (models, videographers, prop stylists…). We adapt to the session, even across more than one day if needed.

Can I choose the final photographs?

Our product photography sessions adapt to you, your business and what you need — so it wouldn’t make sense if you didn’t have the final say in choosing the photographs that made the strongest impression.

We’ll advise you on the selection from our experience with this kind of photography, but you’re the one who decides at every step.

Do you retouch the photographs you deliver?

It depends on the kind of session you want. For lookbook-style catalogues there are often many outfit changes (dozens), and we usually deliver 8–10 photographs per change. That means several frames per outfit with light and colour adjustment, but they won’t include skin retouching or individual edits unless requested expressly and quoted separately.

For e-commerce or food product sessions, photo retouching is quoted separately from the initial budget based on the final number of retouched photographs.

I live in another city but want to book with you. Do you travel?

Yes, we can travel without a problem. Tell us where you need us and we’ll give you a personalised quote tailored to what you need.

How long does it take to deliver the final photographs?

It depends on the project and the total number of photos to retouch; we’ll give you a delivery timeline once we know more about your idea.

Is a deposit required to book? What if the session is cancelled?

The quote depends, as we’ve noted, on the project itself and what you need to make your idea real. We ask for a 30% deposit of the total to reserve the session date, and the remaining 70% within one week of delivering the final work.

You can cancel with a full refund of the deposit up to one week before the session date; after that the deposit is non-refundable because we will have reserved the full day exclusively for your session.

You can reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice and a justified reason (up to 3 times; after that the session is cancelled with no refund).
